Want better sleep?
Put your phone down when your kids go to bed. Then, do not pick it up until after you do your morning routine!
This one may be hard, but you are working towards improvements and small wins not perfection!
Now, if you do not want to put your phone down at let's say 7 or 8 o'clock, pick a time or something you do each night as a consistent time to put down your phone. Then, determine what part of your morning routine you want to do before picking up your phone. For example, get up, do a morning meditation or journaling session, or do a workout, then allow yourself to pick up your phone. Keep it simple.
Try it! And of course you can adapt it as you go to see what works best for you. The reason I do it with kids bedtime is that I like to go to sleep soon after so I can wake up earlier and be more productive!
